Thank you for using Image Compress. We take your privacy extremely seriously. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect user information when you use our offline image compression application.

1. Information Collection

Image Compress is a fully offline local image compression tool. We make the following commitments to all users:

• No Personal Identifiable Information Collection: We never collect your name, mobile number, email address, geographic location, ID number or any other private personal data.
• No Upload of Your Image Content: All pictures you select will only be processed locally on your mobile device. We will not upload, store, copy or remotely access any of your original or compressed images under any circumstances.
• No Third-Party SDK Integration: This app contains no third-party advertising, statistics, crash reporting, analytics or user tracking SDKs of any kind.
• No Active Network Requests: The application does not initiate any network transmission. All image compression functions run completely offline without internet access.

2. Permission Explanation

The app only requests gallery and storage permissions to complete local image selection, compression and saving operations. We will not scan or read your album files without your active manual operation, nor will we transmit media data to external servers.

Required permissions and corresponding purposes are listed below:

• Read Media Images (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED)
  Purpose: Allow users to manually pick photos from the local gallery for compression. Media files are only accessed when you trigger image selection.
• Write External Storage (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
  Purpose: Save compressed pictures to your device gallery. This permission is only required for Android 9 (API 28) and earlier versions. Android 10 (API 29) and above adopt the official Media Gallery API without this broad storage permission.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All image compression logic runs locally on your device; no image data will be sent to any remote server at any processing stage.
• Temporary cache files generated during compression are only saved in the app’s isolated private cache directory and will be cleared automatically by the system or manual cache cleanup.
• We will never sell, rent, share or disclose any user-related data to third parties for commercial or other purposes.

4. Children’s Privacy

This application is suitable for users of all age groups and contains no inappropriate content for minors. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, we will not intentionally gather personal data from children under 13 years old.

5. Updates to This Policy

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. If material changes are made, we will notify users through in-app notifications. The updated policy will take effect immediately after being published on this official privacy policy page.
